When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show , Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type”; and he was going to hear people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that he had to at least pitch it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been brought into the project, generating interest from other major actors.
I actually really enjoyed Shrinking
Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was still excited. It’s about a grieving therapist (Jason Segal) who has had enough and starts telling his patients exactly what he really thinks about them.
This show has gotten nothing but great reviews for a reason
What follows is a truly hilarious series that will make you laugh out loud. The best part of the show is the interactions between Segal’s character and Harrison Ford’s character.
Can’t wait to see more of this!
This show will no doubt be nominated for all kinds of awards and deservedly so. It must be doing well because it has already received an early renewal for a second season.
